The TH-250 Plus is equipped with Fe, NF, and Fe+Zn probes. The Fe probe measures non-magnetic coatings on steel, the NF probe measures insulating coatings on aluminium, copper, and brass, while the Fe+Zn probe automatically detects galvanized coatings for quick and precise inspection. The instrument supports both single and continuous measurement modes and features a backlit color dot matrix display for clear readings in different lighting conditions.
The gauge offers a measurement range of 0 to 1500 µm (0 to 59.1 mil) with a minimum measurement area of 6 × 6 mm. It measures substrates as thin as 0.4 mm and provides high accuracy of ±(3% + 1 µm) up to 1000 µm.
